Infinix Smart 10 Review
Infinix has once again
disrupted the entry-level smartphone market with the launch of the Infinix Smart 10, officially announced and released on June 16, 2025. Priced
at just €60, this device aims to deliver smart features without draining
your wallet. But does it live up to expectations? Let’s explore everything it
offers in this detailed review.
Design & Build: Surprisingly Sturdy for the Price
The Infinix Smart 10
sports a glass front with a plastic back and frame, which is
standard in this price category. The design is minimal yet modern, available in
attractive colors like Sleek Black Titanium Silver, Iris Blue, and Twilight
Gold. Weighing only 187g and with a slim 8.3mm thickness, the
phone feels comfortable in hand. It also has IP64 water and dust
resistance and can survive drops from up to 1.5 meters, which is
impressive for a budget device.
Display: A High Refresh Rate in Budget Segment
One of the standout
features of the Infinix Smart 10 is its 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a
120Hz refresh rate—a rare find at this price point. While the resolution
is just 720 x 1600 pixels (~263 ppi), the overall viewing experience is
smooth and pleasant. With 700 nits peak brightness, visibility in
sunlight is decent enough for daily use.
Performance: Built for Day-to-Day Tasks
Powering the Smart 10
is the Unisoc T7250 chipset, built on a 12nm process, combined
with up to 4GB RAM and 256GB internal storage (eMMC 5.1). It
features an octa-core CPU with Cortex-A75 and Cortex-A55 cores. While
it’s not meant for heavy gaming, it handles daily tasks like social media,
video streaming, and light gaming with ease. You also get a dedicated
microSDXC slot, giving you more flexibility with storage.
The phone runs on Android
15 (or Android 15 Go Edition for lower variants), customized with XOS
15.1, offering new features and a clean UI. Two major Android upgrades are
promised, adding long-term value.
Cameras: Basic But Functional
The rear camera setup
includes a single 8MP wide sensor with auto-focus and dual-LED
flash. Though basic, it performs well in daylight conditions. You can
record videos in 1440p or 1080p at 30fps, which is commendable for this
segment.
The 8MP front
camera also supports 1440p and 1080p video recording, suitable for
selfies and video calls, especially with good lighting.
Battery Life: All-Day Endurance
The Infinix Smart 10
is powered by a 5000 mAh battery, which easily lasts a full day on
moderate to heavy use. It supports 15W wired charging and reverse
wired charging, which means you can even use it to charge other
devices—another neat trick for a budget phone.
Audio, Connectivity & Extras
- Stereo speakers provide decent sound quality for media
consumption.
- 3.5mm headphone jack is still here—music lovers rejoice!
- NFC is available, but limited to data transfer (not for payments).
- Infrared port, FM radio, dual-band Wi-Fi,
and USB Type-C with OTG support round out the rich set of
connectivity options.
- Security is handled via a side-mounted
fingerprint sensor, which works reliably.
Conclusion
Is the Infinix Smart 10 Worth Buying?
If you’re looking for a budget smartphone under €70 that doesn’t compromise on essentials like a high refresh rate display, stereo speakers, Android 15, and decent battery life, the Infinix Smart 10 is an excellent option. It’s clearly designed for first-time smartphone users or anyone needing a reliable secondary device with smart features.
